Anther Charismatica Gin
Anther Charismatica Gin is the brainchild of Trish Brew (Gin Palace, Winner of Bar Manager of the Year 2018) and Zee Gallo (Lily Blacks, 1806). Trish and Zee are the passionate bartenders who won our 2017 Cocktail Competition – and won the chance to collaborate with us to make their own gin. Collaborating with exceptional experienced cocktail bartenders brought weird and wonderful flavour ideas which evolved to bring us Anther Charismatica Gin. We would never have made a gin like this without them which is why we love collaborating. Anther Charismatica Gin is unique and powerful. It portrays the best of the old and new, paying homage to those who first created true juniper gin, while embracing a world of new botanicals. It was first released 2018 and is 47% ABV.
This juniper bombshell is floral, dry with a luxurious mouth feel and makes a perfect Martini.
Did you know we use 17 different botanicals to make Anther Charismatica Gin?They are...
Macedonian Juniper, Egyptian Coriander Seed, Indian Coriander Seed, Orris Root, Angelica, Cassia, Fennel Seeds, Cinchona Bark, Blood Orange Peel, Wattle Seed, Red Ginger, River Mint, Rosemary, Lavender, White Grapefruit Peel, Alpine Green Tea, and Grains of Paradise.

The Anther Flavour Wheel
Did you know, each bottle of Anther Gin has a hidden recipe on the back?
-
Whats a flavour wheel and where is it?
When you get your yummy bottle of Anther Gin into those hot hands of yours, flip your bottle over and have a peek at the back label. At the very top of each back label you will see a wheel with 8 different botanicals sections. Each section will tell you if there's a lot, or a little of these botanical bombshells in the gin. Neat, huh?
-
How do you drink your Anther Gin neat?
We recommend via your mouth ;)
Have a little sip of water before you drink your gin straight, this lubricates your mouth and prepares it for the high alcohol content.
Let the flavour wash over your mouth and breathe out after you've taken a sip. You might pick up citrus, sweetness, spicy or savoury notes. As you sip, we recommend looking over the flavour wheel, there might be some flavours that jump out at you that you know from the botanicals!
Tip - If you sniff your gins with your mouth open (key here is to NOT breathe the gin in through your mouth), your mouth gets prepped for tasting the high proof spirit.
